Marvy Adventures

For those of you who thought Dave was on "crafting retirement"

You'll be happy to know that..........

HE's B A C K ! lol

But, these apperances are limited and you

can most likely spot him hangin' out at Marvy Uchida

We recently went to Anaheim, CA

to help Dave teach a class for Marvy

 

The classroom was about 6 times the size

of the classroom we were normally accustomed to :)

Filled with about 100 ready to craft ladies

 

Look how proud they are of their masterpiece!

 

 

It was wonderful having all these ladies come to class!

Afterwards everyone recieved a Le Plume Certified Certificate

and a lil LOVE from Dave :)

The sweetest "BIG Boss Man" at Marvy (Steve)

to us all out for a treat at Buca di Beppo

Everyone left very happy & about 10 lbs. heavier!

Bye Vegas!

Vegas was so much fun
I'm looking forward to my next visit already! ;)
On Friday I ate @ Ichiza which is an authentic Japanese restaurant & they serve dishes similarly sized to tapas.
My friend Jun who lives in Vegas took me & he ordered what I'd say was the most interesting quesadilla I've ever had ;)
It's a seafood quesadilla! It was quite tasty even though I don't usually eat anything raw. Everything we ordered was delicious & the presentations were beautiful I'd definitely recommend it ;)

On Saturday we ate brunch at Hash House a go go which you guys know is already one of my fave places to go in SD & they had a location inside the Imperial Palace as well ;) My BFFs brother ordered this massive burger stuffed with mash & bacon! Wowzers

We had a gelato at the Venetian & they had so many flavors that is so hard to find at chi town chicago gelato places it was hard to pick just one!

What a crazy week it's been ;)
Today we taught a stamp class for Marvy Uchida for about 100 stamping ladies
So much FUN!

Crafty Weekends

Are the BEST aren't they? :)

This weekend my friend Julie & owner of

Northwoods Scrapbooking retreat

held a crop in Eau Claire & it was SO wonderful

seeing all the girls, met a couple new friends

 & got to finish up a few small projects

Working at Archivers was one of the BEST jobs I've ever had

because I've met the BEST girl friends there!

Keep an eye out for Julies store to be featured

on the Lifestyle Crafts website she's offering a LOT

of great deals it's the 1st week of Dec (I believe)

I'll keep you guys posted though

& give you a heads up when I confirm the dates

On the go post

I'm on my way to Arizona for Creative Escape!!!! I'm soooooo excited ;)
So excited that I'm even fully color coordinated for CE colors this year ha!
My mom (aka my personal seamstress) made me THE CUTEST skirt ever (it kinda makes me look like mini mouse) lol
& I painted my nails to match & the other day we made jewelry to match as well
I'm a dork lol ;)

I don't have any planned posts I will try to post while on the road

SMASHing in my SMASHBOOK

I'm really lovin the "freedom" to put stuff

 I want to keep but normally would throw out in this book!

I'm making this page my "Bucket List" of places to visit :)

This is my "LIKE" page is specific to the Anthro & Free People catalog

I go through the Catalog & cut out the pieces i like before I toss it!

(lots of shoes! LOVE shoes)

 
I brought my smashbook with me to Canada & I collected some stuff

throughout our way so this is my page so far

 
I used one of the pages in my Smash pad as a journaling spot

I  have a few sets of SMASH pads in Travel, Word of mouth & Entertainment 

available @ the ivyPINK shop

Hi there fr. Muskoka

Sharing some quick iPhone pics I've taken so far here in Muskoka

The skies @ sunset is just perfect ;)

We went on a boat that cruised around 30,000 small islands @ Parry Island

I also caught my 1st fish ever (it's teeny tiny) BUT I also had the most amazing catch of the day...a huge turtle!!!
*I'll make sure to post a pic when I get back I was too scared/excited I forgot to take a pic with my phone ;)

& today there was a pink canoe for rent I had to give it a try for a pic op & I found out I'm a master a canoeing ;) who knew?!?! LoL now I need one in my life hahaha
