I just wanted to share a couple pics I took when I went to New York. In memory of September 11.
Bek & I decided to visit ground zero during one of our stops in the "Red" tour bus.
It really was a touching moment for me because this time line brought you back to that day. In Fact I didn't even read through the whole thing because it made me sad. Around ground zero there were still flowers on the ground. This was my first time to New York so I never knew how large the twin towers were. So when you see ground zero and all the construction still going on...My thoughts were WOW! I cant believe how empty the spot is even though they built newer buildings around it already. I could never imagine being there that day. Although I CAN imagine the chaos of the people.
This one was taken while me & Bek were on the tour bus through Greenwich Village it was a bunch of little tiles made by a Kids all over the US to remember September 11. This was just a piece of the fence. There were a TON of tiles! I love how they keep it out there like its a part of the fence now. it makes it hard to forget about September 11 if you pass this everyday.
Its a colorful reminder of a sad day.
Wow...that is an awesome sight. Hope you had a great trip to NYC! Miss that town :0)
