Just made it

SOOOOOOOOOoooooo literally I JUST MADE {25} of these for my co-workers for tomorrow and it only took me a few hours! PHEW.
I ordered the popcorns from Dale and Thomas and this is the "project" I needed those bags for BUT i didn't find either of the bags so i just settled for these party bags from Wal-Mart and it was only 20 for $1.32!
I cut 12 x 12 paper to 5 x 6 and stuffed it as a background in the bag. I used two different patterns so that it would also show a pattern on the back side.
I've had these To and From stamps for a while now and I've never used them so i stamped it with chalk ink and colored it with the Stardust Gelly roll pens by Sakura. {I love these}
It turned out cute for quick tags!

I've been so behind this whole holiday season. I just sent my cards out on Tuesday. BUT at least its out in the mail right? I also did some Christmas shopping yesterday and my mother gave me a clue as to what she wants for Christmas! Now I just have to find it. I went to the Apple store to buy my brother the new  IPOD Nano  and I fell in LOVE with the  IPOD Touch but I think Im gonna wait until they come out with a higher GB. I know Im going to out grow it.

Oh we took picz at school for our students...I look like a dork but thats ok. we took another one with all of us staring down our school president it was hilarious! He so nice. He doesn't like attention very much but we always put him on the spot and hes STILL so nice about it! :)

Also while I was out shopping for a gift for my grandma I found something for myself instead. Ive been on a mad hunt for the "'perfect" lamp for my bedroom and when I saw this I HAD to have it in my LIFE... Look how pretty... Its a chandelier lamp and I took a pic with it Lit up and its looks awesome against the color of my walls. The crystals really reflect with the light. *sigh* makes me HAPPY.

Im so sleepy I have work early tomorrow. nighty night!

you guys im totally in a search for CLEAR GUSSET BAGS ASAP!!!!!

I cant find any I went to flippin Michaels, Joannes,Factory Card Outlet, the DOLLAR store, Target, WAL Mart, Jewel... Its ridiculous.

I would like to have them...by wednesday because I need to be done with my project by...THIS THURSDAY!

Ill settle for THIS too but I need them soon I dont have time for them to be mailed.

so if any of you has an idea where I can find these it would be very well appreciated.

day {12}

a little late  on the 12th day post... I just got home like 1/2 hour ago. :(
What a busy day at work! I'm POOOPED!

but before I go to bed I wanted to post some other cards I made

You cant tell but that tree is made out of chipboard and I just wrapped the paper over it to give it some more dimension.
The 1/2 back pearls is also my new THANG. :) I just love how shabby they look.
The card folds up towards the bottom of the tree and theres a pocket inside! I love the Paper Source POCKET envelopes. Another one of my warehouse sale buys. Pretty much everything I use freely from PS is from the warehouse sale other wise if I bought it at regular price even with my discount id be afraid to use it cuz I might ruin it LOL.

I hope you all enjoyed the 12 days of card making as much as I did. i got to use a lot of products that I haven't used in a long time. It was a great challenge and now I have a BUNCH of Xmas cards ready to be mailed. heehee

Ever since we got home from the Philippines my moms been asking me to make a Thank You card for my aunt who we stayed with...I finally just got around to making it today. Ive had this paisley paper forever and I love it. they had a 6 for $.96  sale at Joannes... and I bought like 12. :)
This might be the 2nd time I'm using it. LOL
I used a pocket card cuz we took some Picz and she wants to put a few of them with her letter.
This was another one of my awesome BUYS at the paper Source warehouse sale.

I'm off to Lifetime everyone have a good night. We're suppose to get 4 inches of ICE not SNOW...ICE tomorrow. I'm definitely NOT looking forward to it.

SORRY i didn't get to POST day 8 yesterday I was NOT home the whole day. so before I talk about anything else here is the card for

Day {eight}

Its seriously a 5 minute card. Which is totally what I LOVE about it. SUPER simple and easy to make. The actual card size is 4 x 5 1/4
(so I can get 6 pieces from the 12 x 12)

I worked at Paper Source  today and boy oh boy did I find lots of pretty things. They have that silvery "Believe" that Keisha Cole has her daughter posing with but in "Dream" & "Joy" it was so pretty. I didn't know where to put it though. My co workers already think I'm out of control with my LOVELY PINK tree in my cube. hahahaha so I didn't buy it.
I also got 2 Christmas cards in the mail today. I was thinking maybe everyone is sending late cards this year (LIKE ME!) but nope.. I forgot to give them my new address... so everything is getting sent back to the post office so it can be re-adressed! I'm feeling the pressure! i better get moving on some Holiday card action! :)

I also joined Chrissy's annual Christmas Cookie exchange and I cant wait to get my cookies. The trade was today but I had to work so I'm hoping to get it tomorrow.
Want to hear a funny story? SOOOOOOOOOOOOO I was suppose to make 4 cookies per person & there were 16 people.... well i made 6 dozen and some broke so I didn't want to include that and the others, I just happened to "taste" a few/OK several..LOL but the whole time I thought OK I only need to make for 13 so I have PLENTY left. So I bagged each pack and there was still a bunch left in a zip lock on my kitchen counter. I went to drop it off at Chrissy's house and I'm like: "OK here's 13 bags" she looks at me and shes like 13??? you're suppose to have 16! I'm like oh BROTHER! but thats OK i still have more at home Ill just have to come by again tomorrow. So right when I get in the car i call my mom to tell her to separate the cookies for me... I said its on the counter.. she tells me: "what cookies? I don't see any cookies... nelson (my dad) did you see any cookies?" My dad answers..."Oh its in my tummy!" CRAP! so I had to bake a whole new batch first thing this morning before I went to work! I swear to goodness gracious I have to put a label on everything...don't touch don't eat don't even look at it!!! LOL...OH and the BEST part of all I placed the BRAND new batch on the table for it to cool...there must of been over a dozen left, I get home and theres only 2 left. I asked my dad if he ate it and this time he said it wasn't me it was Sam (my brother) so there's still NO cookie left for me. :(

So the card for today uses the MM Deck the Halls Page kit. Its soooo fun.

Day {nine}

The thing that took the most time on this card is SERIOUSLY stringing the silly fibers through the button but other wise it would of been a 2 minute card instead of 8 LOL
I love the clear button on top of the MM stickers. Totally made all the difference!

Resist

{*Chris this is for YOU...its BLUE & its RESIST*} LOL

So, I worked at STAMPOLOGY today and I was working on cards for the resist class for 12/11.
{BTW theres STILL some space left & theres 4 resist techniques that you will learn so call ASAP if you are interested}

This is NOT one the cards that they are making in class BUT it did get me to make one for todays Daily card.

Its an awesome technique! I am going to share with you the step by step procedure to get this effect.

1. Stamp your image with Versamark & emboss it with clear embossing powder.
2. I used Luminartes Radiant Mist & sprayed it all over. {this stuff is AWESOME}
3. take a paper towel and wipe the excess mist off your image and you'll see it resist the embossed part
4. take a non porous paper lay it over the top of your entire card and take a craft iron and lay it on top of your image {about 20 seconds} or until you can see that the porous paper soaked up the melted embossing powder.
5. Ta-Da your card is done. *NOTE* Your image will show through with whatever color paper you used as your base card color. {My card is white thats why the snowflake is white} exp: if I had used pink paper as my base my snowflake will be pink...

JOY... I got out of work before 6:30 today and I didn't have to go any where or DO anything. I went home chatted with my mommy watched Grey's while I painted this little masterpiece...& Ta Da...by the time Greys was done I was all set to mount....

This was a petal card and I just cut the two ends off.
The note card is meant to pull out and the petal card is now a "Jacket" instead.
