I was hoping to get more ORGANIZING done this Sunday BUT I went to work for some OT.
Currently my BULK ribbons are stored in this Ribbon holder from Pottery Barn.
I LOVE it BUT i have a TON of
loose ones also and it's driving me CRAZY.
I saw Candi's post a little while ago..I asked her where she bought the clothes pins and off I went. It was from the dollar store 20 for $1.00. (Bargain) and it looks super cute too all rolled up. So I started to roll all of my KI Memories ribbons..
and
TA-DA...
So CUTE!
My concern is I have a LOT more...I might have to buy out Dollar Tree's Clothes pins stock. {heehee}
and my next mission is to purchase some cute storage to put them in.
Also I sorted all my 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
Goodness that took forever. I just kept finding more and more. Almost all of my 8 1/2 x 11's are cardstock BUT different kinds so I couldn't figure out if I should sort them by kind, brand, or color... So I did all of them. The first & second slot is all of my Stardream paper (arranged in ROYGBV B/W silver & gold order) cuz thats what I use the most. Then the 3rd slot is all of my Stampin 'Up cardstock arranged by their color family (Bold brights,Earth Elements,Rich Regals...). Then the rest goes in to ROYGBV PINK (2 slots),Brown,Neutral,Grey,White,Black, and specialty.
I thought It would be the best way because I was having such a hard time finding what I needed. I bought this paper rack through West End Wire Displays a long time ago. But when I moved out of my apt. I kept it in storage and forgot all about it. I was storing the papers in these magazine Files I got at the PS warehouse sale (its the PINK flowery ones) BUT I had too many papers!
So hopefully I will be able to find what I need a lot easier and FASTER again.
NOW, Time for the purchases I made this weekend.
I worked at Stampology this Friday and they had Dave's Birthday sale :) Hes turning 26 again. LOL
anyway I saw these at CHA and it was the COOLEST thing EVER!!!! the lady doing the demo made a MILLION things with it. I was astonished.
Crafters Companion is a scoring tool that you can use to make envelopes, cards, & boxes in a matter of minutes. Dave had a deal going on where it comes with the DVD and she shows you how to use it. Im gonna make sure to study it step by step. LOL :) I was too busy watching the lady at CHA with my mouth dropped, and all I was thinking was I HAVE TO HAVE THIS IN MY LIFE!!! :) {heehee}
Another Purchase...The Janome Sew mini.
I finally bought it at Hancock Fabricks. It was only $49.99.
I wanted a sewing machine JUST for PAPER since forever cuz i didnt like using my big machine, and the Provo Craft sew mini one I got a million years ago is VERY Phooooey!
LOL I was never able to get it to work.
I also saw this tutorial through Gina K's BLOG.
