So I re-did my room AGAIN.

It all started because I bought this mirror with no idea where to put it.

I got it at the Walter E. Smithe tent sale. Its HUGE though it takes up my whole wall.

It had a crack & it was originally $900 and I got it for like $100 and I bought these Vinyl Wall decals from

Elly Nelly Etsy Shop Its called the Mock Orange wall Graphic.

I thought it turned out pretty well. ;)

Anywayz I added book shelves along my wall and I think I'm gonna put the mirror above the book shelves.

and the larger brocade box was from Tuesday Morning

I bought the matching Magazine file also & totally regretting that I didnt buy the garbage can.

When I decided that I wanted it, it was too late. I didnt know Tuesday Morning was a snooze you loose kinda place. LOL :(

The KNOBs was from Jeanettes Virtual Garage Sale.

I also Made this Frame for my room :)

It's picz of my Grandmother she use to make all her own clothes She was miss FASHONISTA!

I got the Frame at Ikea.

I made the frame in to a bulletin board. I adhered a thumb tack to the back of the flower :)

The Houndstooth fabric is by Waverly.

 

 

 

*UGH* grrr

I am STILL not use to all the new TYPEPAD functions.

I just lost THE LONGEST post ever (or what felt like it) Grrrr.

Of course just when I was almost done.

I have to go to bed I have a meeting in the morning :(

Quickutz

So for those of you who didnt know I have a confession to make. I was a Quickutz junkie before.
I use to have a habit of collecting Quickutz but hardly ever using them which caused a major pile such as THIS: I must of mounted 10 alphabet sets today before my helpers came :)

My cousin and her friend Ariel came for some BBQ at the house and instead I put them to work :)

(SORRY...My scrap room looks like a tornado went through it!)

I FINALLY finished though. They are ALL cut and put in to their Binders. *sigh* It only took me 2 years or something ridiculous to actually do it BUT its done :) *sigh*

This must be the last card I made with my Quickutz!

Speaking of Quickutz where do you usually buy yours?
A very close friend of mine and a dedicated Quickutz collector (we started  collecting retired dies together and I fell off the wagon and NOW she has all of them!!!) Also started selling them. Abbey update: I bought her a new cage this weekend and she totally got loose!
OMG I had a little bit of a heart attack!
I was afraid Earl was gonna eat her or she was gonna poke the POOP out of Earl we frantically searched the whole house. We found her sleeping under the cats beds (of all places!)

Quick POST

Sorry I dont have anything inspiring to post about today. I dont feel so good :(

I got an infection on my gums & I went to emergency with the dentist today.

(My cheeks are super swollen! My cheeks are fat as it is so today I looked like a chipmunk!)

I got some antibiotics for the mean time but that tooths definitely going bye bye.

For some good news though...

My Daddy-O bought me a new pet Sunday morning :) (before I got sick in the evening)

I wanted to share some picz of my new little baby Hedgehog.

Her name is ABBEY and shes 5 weeks old.

Shes the cutest little thing. She snores when shes sleeping! {heehee}

Inspired

This was the LO I wanted to share yesterday :)
I found these My Minds Eye Bohemian papers buried under a pile of unsorted papers...I love it when that happens cuz some times you totally get re-inspired :)

I was also Inspired by  Becky's Sketch in this months Creating Keepsakes June issue on Page 40.

I've been dying to use that "Italy" sticker from this Cavallini Map sticker tin I got 2 years ago! LOL
So this was the perfect page.

I finally tried my new Martha Stewart Pen on this LO and I'm Lovin' It. The brown is just the right shade that I'm always looking for too!

SO today...

THIS song was stuck in my head ALL day (I don't even know why).
Which INSPIRED me to make this card :) "Domo Arigato Mr. ROBOTO".

TV TALK

SERIOUSLY I'm still in shock from SUNDAYs Survivor. I CANT believe Parvati WON!
Survivor's ONE of MY FAVORITE shows! This season hands down was one of the BEST!
I really wanted Amanda to win because she played such an honest game...I guess she kinda did because shes dating Ozzy (MY FAVORITE)

All my shows are ending this month :( Booo!

It's TOP MODEL finale this WED (I'm rooting for Anya or Whitney)
I cant believe there might be ANOTHER kid in Brothers & Sisters.
                          Does Greys really have to end so soon? I feel like it just started! 

I just got done watching Oprah's SMARTEST Kids I was in shock.
with this AMAZINg girl from the Philippines. Charice Pempengco is only 15!
I also LOVE this little CUTIE Pie Lilly. Man I know I have no clue where 1/2 of those countries are. hahaha!

My computer hates me & wont let me post a pic of a LO I made... I guess I'll have to try tomorrow :(

                                    

JURY DUTY

I was called in for JURY DUTY today :)
ask me if I had any cool trials?
YEAH......NOPE! I waited the WHOLE day.

I wanted to go home so BAD.
1) because I was bored to tears
2) my little guy
aka EARL
was super sicky today. He threw up before I left this morning BUT I had to go & when I got home I found more :(
I ran him to the vet as soon as I got in. He hasn't moved from my bed since we got home this evening. Poor thing. I never knew I'd be so attached to my 2 cats!

Anyway...MOTHERS Day is this SUNDAY & I just started my cards today for all the mommies in my life.
I was inspired by this layout.  GOTTA LUV that Hero BLOG.
I wish I found that "There is no one like YOU" stamp sooner :(
BUT I don't have enough time so I'm just gonna write it :(
so heres my mothers day card:

I used the Large Flourish stamp from Paper source on the blue paper with Versamark.
The pattern paper is from Close to my hearts Silhouette paper pack.

...and SERIOUSLY I just signed up for THIS last week & I cant tell you how many people I've come across that I haven't seen or talked to in years. Its amazing how it makes it feel like such a small world.

After watching Oprah tonight I'm very Intrigued by THIS as well.  I'm currently reading  A Piece of Cake and so far so GOOD. :)

Feeling GREEN

How was everyones NSD?
I didn't end up going to Archivers...BUT we did CROP at my house.
I finally finished the Calendar Kit that I got from Target on clearance back in March {LOL}...
I still Have 8 months to use it. heehee

I also finished ONE layout for myself and ONE layout for my aunt.
I used more stuff from the 5th ave. collection. Its my FAVORITE.

My cousin Giza took us to CUPCAKES @ Serendra (a mall there) and this cupcake shoppe is the cutest little thing.

I just got my order from HSN for these Amy Butler SUNblooms stationery set.
I LOVE the envelopes it comes with.

I made a quick card from some of the left overs from the swap cards:
I also realized another problem with my Janome...Before it only sewed backwards...NOW I realized the stitches are backwards. Im going to have to take it in again ;) oh boy!

Little DETAILS:

I used the PINK flower rub ons for the center of the card
and added a rhinestone in the center.
The button is layered on 2 separate sheets of these Berry Sweet paper. Im in LOVE with this paper pack because theres a lot of small prints on it.

{Quick story}

My BOSS Kelly is getting married this MONTH and we have a countdown for her at work.
The countdown is a piece of paper each written with I LOVE YOU in different languages.
WE also take a pic of Kelly everyday with the piece of paper. WELL this weekend was Kellys bachelorette party and her mom from IRELAND sent her some feather boas. BUT she forgot to bring it with her to VEGAS. So instead she brought it to work for the team to wear.... This was TODAYS pic.
