Weekend

I hope everyone had a good weekend!
I worked this whole weekend BUT I still managed to sneak in some fun ;)
I worked on the My Favorite Things class at Stampology today,
I took a pic of one of the cards I made but I used my cell phone so its not super clear.

I used some toothpicks for the packet sticks.
We also got the new DOODLEBUG papers in & thats what I used for her hat :)

Also today my friend Barbie had a get together at her 100 year old home in the HISTORICAL part of Elgin.


Isnt it BEAUTIFUL?
She gave us a tour told us some of its history.

It was so nice to see some of the old Paper Source Crew.

Im CURRENTLY working on a TRAVEL album.
Im so INSPIRED by the new MAKING MEMORIES passport line.
I was so glad that Christy included the whole Passport Page Kit in this months SC Kit.
I also got a bunch of stuff when I went to IMPRESS.


I will share some pages when I add the PICs.
I'm so HAPPY that SNAPFISH prints are only 9 cents forever.
Before it was only limited time. I also got a coupon for 19 cent 5 x 7 prints what a DEAL!

I'm also considering this for the wall right above my desk or this for same wall but i above my headboard...

I wanted EVERY single thing in that store.
I love this CHINA.
I want my table to look like this when i have a "tea party"
I even loved the smell of the store...it reminded me of how Antro smells.
The Staff was super nice too!

The person who did the tables told me they had an event at the Westin & she was inspired by
Audrey Hepburn and the tables had letters for Audrey  framed. It was SO lovely.

I also ate at Lockspot Cafe
where I had their famous FISH & Chips :) YUM

YEY! I'm back from Seattle. I just got home a little bit ago. (11:30 pm)

I'm sharing a LO I made a little bit ago.
I did LOTS of cutting which I dont normally do
I used the making memories glitter glaze
to harden the cardstock and then I layered them :)
 


I was trying to use some stickers up.

Im working at IADT tomorrow (all by myself)
everyone else needed a Saturday off then I have a b day party
Then Fathers day my dad said he wants to have a BBQ
So I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Its really hard to tell BUT I did some tone on tone stamping you can actually see it better in person.

I used the Clear & Circular Stamps from Hero & the Get Rollin wheel from Clearsnap.

Its like my own custom wheel stamps :)

Adventure

Im ALIVE. *phew* LOL
I dont think I'll be camping again any time soon. {hahaha}
I didnt even stay in the tent I was inside BUT...
I was still surrounded by bugs. The camp sites quiet time ended at 2:30 am
and it was a muggy weekend.
It was good experience BUT its totally not an "ivy" type vacation. LOL
During the rafting portion of the trip I thought I would be doing this: (I was totally cool with the GROUP thing)

BUT *UMMmmm NO*
I found out thatthe water was too low.
 There was still some current though.
SO instead I did this:

YUP all by my lonesome.
The river was 5 1/2 miles long with 5 drops & 3 hours long.
My whole upper body killed the next day & it still hurts now.
I thought I was going to die. {for real}
The guide gave us a demonstration before we got in the kayak
he talked about hitting yourself on the rocks
some one always falls off the drop...
I mean CRAZINESS!
I was so scared i cant believe I DID IT!
BUT I would totally white water raft again :)

We ate at this restaurant who was famous for their house special which was stuffed steak.
I DON'T really eat steak BUT  pretty much every one ordered it so I did too and I must say it was the super yummiest steak. It was stuffed with Mozarella, Mushroom & Bacon.

We stopped by my FAVORITE place on the way back home

Mars Cheese castle makes the BEST cheese bread ever
I bought 5 loaves and I came home Sunday evening and theres only 2 left I gave one to my grandma.
yes we LOVE it that much :)

I Love the cork board idea.
I used a roll of cork and cut two 8 1/2 x 11 sheets & stuck them together.
 I actually just used the stick pins to hold the clips so you can pull the journaling card out :)

Vaca YEY!

This is what my Calendar looks like for the month of June.
See all those circles? That means VACATIONS *sigh*
I'm leaving for Vaca tomorrow afternoon.
We're going HERE.
Trust me...everyone else will be camping & I'll be in the cabin.  {LOL}
I even bought a new "camping bag"

I got the Bag on SALE @ Hobby Lobby!

I also took apart my scrap room BUT its a little better now.

I added those 14 x 14 cubes :)
I needed MORE space to hide goodies in :)
Michaels had an IN STORE 50% coupons this week
So the CUBES were $29.99 with the 50% it was $15 how could I resist?
Its not filled yet {heehee}
BUT I'll share picz when I do fill it up.
My HUTCH was from LOWES
Theres a Bulletin board in the center & I just covered it with Fabric.
I also got this at HOBBY LOBBY

Its made out of wrought iron I think (so heavy)...I just love the little scallops :)
I also LABELED some of my CLEAR stamps {FINALLY}...It took me like 2 hours

I have them color coordinated by BRAND.
I was going to do them alphabetically also but I thought it might be too anal. {u think? LOL}

And finally my YOUNGEST cousin Abigail Graduated Middle School with HONORS this week :)
Were very PROUD of her.
and in a couple of weeks
Were going to our other cousins Graduation in Seattle,WA.
We are BOTH very EXCITED.

How was everyones weekend?

I went to the Ortho Surgeon on Thursday & got 2 of my "pains in the mouth" pulled out :( OUCHIE
So I pretty much didn't do anything ALL weekend because I'm on this pain medication & it gives me the biggest headache ever. I missed the GIRLS night out planned like 2 months ago for the big Sex & the City premiere!!! :( Boooooo.... I still caught the show this weekend though...I couldn't contain myself headache and all BUT I was looking forward to GNO.

SATC colors inspired me to make this card :) Hahahhaha a new excuse for a PINK Black & White card :)
