Weekend Fun

My cousins from Texas was over this past week and I felt really guilty
because I had work all week and I couldnt really take them out till the weekend
so Saturday we went downtown :)
I FINALLY got to see the BEAN up close!
I've always driven by it but I've never stopped to actually see it.



I took this pic of my cousin Krystle while we were waiting for the Blue Line.



After our trip downtown they wanted some HOT Dogs...
SO I took them to my fav HOTDawg place :)
SUPERDAWGS.


and then we went to my friends FILIPINO restaurant
called lsla Pilipina on Lawrence in Chicago
where they seriously have my FAVORITE Calamari EVER
 {I could eat the whole plate}


Then on Sunday we went to the
BRISTOL Renaissance Faire
OMGoodness it was SO much FUN!
I've never been to the renaissance faire before
and my cousin is a huge fan of that era
they had a great time :)
and I quote
"It was the highlight of our trip"

I'm so HAPPY to say that we are bringing in Jenni Bowlin Products
@ Stampology & we are also having a Jenni Bowlin Class in SEPTEMBER

I'm looking forward to watching Hell Boy after work today.
Guillermo del Toro seriously amazes me.
Hes one of my personal favorite directors ever since Pans Labrinth.
His imagination is BRILLIANT.

My Friend Sue shared something with me today...she said she was watching the travel channel and thought of me when she saw a tour of the Madonna Inn :)
This place has over 109 rooms that is uniquely decorated with a special theme.
I LOVE this room...

It's called the LOVE NEST.
She also said the dining room even has PINK sugar!
PINK sugar?! I dont think it could get any better hahahha.

JULY

Is totally flying by.
I'm Back from South Carolina & West Virginia.
This trip was the last one planned for the year. *phew*
I finally met the newest baby in the family.
His Name is Kai :)
We went to the beach & he was soooo excited he LOVES water.

We went to South Carolina for our Grandma & Grandpa's 50th Wedding Anniversary
All the guys were dressed in the traditional filipino "Barong"
Including baby Kai :)

What a CUTIE.

My Cousin, the one holding baby Kais hand in that pic is
wearing a dress my grandmother sewed. She altered it from my OLD Sweet 16 dress!
It didn't look anything like my dress by the time she was through with it.

Didn't forget

I promise I did not forget to POST its just been really crazy lately. I'm currently in South Carolina and I'm leaving for West Virginia tomorrow.
