My BEST friend from California came to Chicago this weekend for her cousins wedding.
I was so HAPPY to see her :)
ON Friday we went to dinner at
La Tasca Tapas restaurant in Arlington Heights
{SO YUMMY}
My FAVORITE was the Bacon wrapped dates!

After Dinner we went to the IMPROV @ Woodfield
to see John Heffron he was HILARIOUS!

THEN today we went to breakfast at Richard Walkers in Schaumburg before Sue left :(
{they had super YUMMY choc chip pancakes BTW!}

THEEEENNNN....I went to my friend Jonnies house for her SUSHI MAKING B-DAY party
yeah... how awesome is that?

Im a LOT in LOVE with her
her name is {BELLA}

{sigh} I want one!!!!
& I want to name him Edward & then they can have little babies

Sooo I was going through my iphone picz

we went to HAPPY Elephant for lunch today

 I gave LIL miss ABBEY a bath yesterday

and she was running/scurrying briskly away from me THE WHOLE TIME!!!

Boo!

Hi guys :)
I'm here trying to get back on track.
I went back to work this week
Its almost start week for my students sooo work is BUSY
It keeps my mind off things though.

My moms asked me to make some special thank you cards last week...
I attempted but I just stared blankly like I've never made cards before
we actually had to go BUY cards which I havent done in I dont even know how long to be honest :(
Sooooo I thought I lost my MOJO....

BUT leave to Scarlet Limes  OCT project KIT to INSPIRE me.
Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday
and this banner idea is too cute.
So this weekend I worked on a banner of my own

heres some pics:





I was DYING to use that spider web rhinestone fr MAMBI
that I bought last year I thought this was the perfect opportunity :)
This months kit also included this super fun silver glass glitter I just covered the  Star chipboard
with adhesive and sprinkled it on I LOVE how it turned out :)
I used the Threading water punch for the borders of the triangles



SERIOUSLY Crackle Paint is my new best friend



and THIS is awesome!
I LOVE this whole line :)


and the HOLIDAYS are coming up...

Samuel "Sam" Pe of Hanover Park The visitation for Samuel "Sam" Pe will be from 1 to 9 p.m. with a chapel service at 6 p.m. Saturday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Interment will be private. He was the loving son of Nelson and Naty Pe; dear brother of Eleanor Ivy Pe; dear grandson of Ester Velasquez; dear nephew of Edgar Pe; and cousin of Abigail. For information, 630-889-1700.

I know many of you have been wondering what really happened

and this pretty much sums it up.

Lake Michigan drowning victim identified as Hanover Park man

 

A 20-year-old Hanover Park man was missing for three days before his body was found in Lake Michigan.

The body of Samuel Pe was identified on Aug. 23. The Cook County medical examiner's office determined his cause of death to be drowning.

Hanover Park police Lt. Tom Cortese said Pe had been reported missing Aug. 21. His mother, with whom he lived, told authorities she last saw him just after lunch the previous day.

Pe's body was recovered by authorities in Chicago near Adler Planetarium, Cortese said.

The body displayed no signs of foul play, he added.

When Pe was reported missing, there was no indication of his intended whereabouts or that he expected to be in Chicago, Cortese said.

I wasnt sure whether I should post something on this BLOG
or not but I know theres a lot of friends I don't see or talk to too often that visit here.

My brother Sam had been Missing since Wednesday August 20, 2008
That alone had been a big worry for my family & I
But we hoped he would come back.

This past Wednesday September 3rd we were notified that Sams body was found.

I have never felt so much pain
and this is truly devastating.

September 13, 2008

Quick Weekend

Monday Already?
This weekend went by so quickly

I finished all those invites with my friend Jolynn's help
By Thursday night
{thank goodness}

So Friday after work I left for a quick
mental health get away
a {SERIOUSLY} needed one
to Lake Geneva




{Sigh}
The weather was perfect
I took a Lake tour
and I had some Good eats ;)
Such as: Egg Harbor for breakfast their Strawberry OJ is the Bestest!
Popeyes {not the chicken}
 & If your feeling for some Mexican El Palenque was also very Yummy.


Im so GLAD its Labor Day
and I get one more day to recoup
This weeks been so CRAZY


I don't have anything new to share sooooo..
Im including a layout I did a while ago for my friend Sahries store





I love interactive scrapbook pages
I like stuff that open or Pull out...
man, if I could make a POP out i WOULD LOL
and these magnetic snaps are my BFFs
I love how Flat and strong they are.
