Now let me share some projects I made using Craft Lounge stamps :)
I was INSPIRED by the Scrapbooks Etc. January 2009 issue on page 134
Its in the "Lesson Plan" techniques section & the plan was to use embroidery floss as a background
This is my Floss collection from like 6th grade when I use to make "friendship bracelets"
so SERIOUSLY when I saw this this article I was like whooo hoo
lets use this floss UP! LOL
so heres the background the scallop note card is Luxe Blush from Paper Source
and the beige is Bazzills Dotted Swiss Cardstock (they have a great deal in oriental trading)
I used the little giraffe from the Tree-mendous LOVE set
Hes such a little cutie his spots are hearts! (awe)
My friend Yasmin just had a baby girl so I'm using this card to Congratulate her!
I also made a card with that awesome tree!
I also LOVE this "Life is SWEET" stamp set
I've been thinking of a cute INEXPENSIVE gift to give to my co-workers for the holidays & last year I did pop corn from Dale & Thomas although I have new co workers this year and I could do the same thing
I wanted to come up with something different. I work with all females now & one of my co-workers is artsy fartsy & last year she made everyone picture frames
Soooo HELLO i have to be artsy fartsy too :)
and I thought of this:
NOTEPADS with a cute cover
we write NOTES a lot I swear we go through a pad of post it a week
I bought those note pads at the dollar store 4 for a Dollar! cant beat that deal right?
Isn't this gift card holder cute?
My friend Krista gave me a similar GC holder for my birthday
she used an old Cigar tin :)
My dad has a few so I put it to good use :)
of course that sentiment is PERFECT for any gift card :)
I hope you take a peek at Our Craft Lounge stamps ;)
Have a GREAT day!

Hey Ivy - how does the embroidery floss work on the back side of the scallop card? Do you just wrap it around and around and then tie it in a knot on the back side or did you do something else? I fully intend to copy, I mean emulate, you as I have a lot of embroidery floss...
