F I N A L L Y 

I found a new chair for the scraproom!

I feel like I've been searching for one F O R E V E R!

 This one is pretty close to perfect

It's wide in the front so I can sit Indian style And it's super cushiony ;)

The only thing I'd want to change is if it was

1-1 1/2 inch taller...But it's not a big deal :) 

Sigh!So Happy!

I LOVE the floral print :)

First off...
{7.17} would have been my brother Sams 21st BIRTHDAY
so I just wanted to say....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sam!!! :) miss you.

So today...I have some random posts
I have some recent finds that I LOVE & I wanted to share

I went to see Harry Potter yesterday
I dont read the book I just watch the movies so I was saddened by the ending cuz it surprised me :(
But thats not my recent find
 I stopped by Yankee Candle before the movies and found this little cutie :)
I also got the strawberry one
I love how it looks like a little teeny tiny yankee jar :)

I totally went in there for a car freshener
they have the BEST one the past one I bought lasted me like 2 months
Clean Cotton is my favorite :)
It's also currently on SALE buy one get one 1/2 off

I also LOVE my new ring
its a DIORETTE knock off
since I totally cant afford the real thing LOL
I didn't even know it was a knock off until someone thought it was the real thing
I just bought it cuz I thought it was cute :)

Also been "treating" on these recently :)

I did just recently wear these sandals I bought from JCREW a lil while ago
we cant wear opened toe shoes to work :(
So I only get to wear them on the weekends


Oh! while away on Vaca I got my package from PINK PAISLEE
I was so excited to open it when I got back :)
I don't know if anyone else got Lucky & ordered from their warehouse sale
BUT boy am I glad I did
Look at all these goodies :)

Tulum, Mexico

As PROMISED I'm sharing pics from my Vaca :)
{WARNING LOL lots of picz}
I usually take a few vacations throughout the year
BUT since my new job I haven't really been able to get away as much
So this Mexico trip has really been a TREAT!

I went to Mexico because my friends Eric & Melissa got married on

{ 07. 08. 09 }
I LOVE that so clever :)

{DESTINATION} DREAMS Resort  Tulum, Mexico

I've never been to an ALL Inclusive vacation before...

I definitely didn't know what I was missing :)
Its my NEW FAVORITE
and I feel like its totally the WAY TO GO on vaca hahaha
*If you just want to RELAX, lay on the beach/pool & have no worries*
ALL inclusive included ALL meals including room service & Mini Bar

which was refilled every day
ALL drinks including any type of alcoholic beverage

also all TIPS was included in the package as well.
I wouldn't have spent a single dime on anything if I didn't get a SPA service
It was the BEST!
It was so relaxing! The toughest decision I had to make each day
was what type of food did I feel like eating
and since its ALL inclusive
if you cant make up your mind about which entree you want
you can order both & it doesnt make any difference :)

 

I also LOVED the part where they opened our dinner all at the same time :)

 

Although I never ordered 2 entrees, I did however order plenty of desserts :) YUM!

Loved the coconut flavored ice cream with this chocolate creme brule

and really who doesn't like chocolate filled cannolis?

Then came wedding day :)
It rained in the morning
BUT by 3:00 it was all cleared up
& you couldn't even tell

(BTW they have weddings at Dreams 3 times a day! holy moly!!!)



Eric is Irish and wanted the fellas to wear Kilts
which was a crowd pleaser lots of guests throughout the resort
stopped him & Mel to take pics



and heres the ladies very pretty in sage :)

which I thought was an AWESOME idea!!!!



Oh heres the dress that I ended picking out :)



The Mariachi Band played us some tunes
while they prepared the Banquet room & the guests ate
Hors d'oeuvres & drank Champagne
SO FUN!



My Favorite part of the wedding dinner was
this amazing cup thingy made out of Asiago cheese YUMMMMMY :)

The NEXT day
the group decided to go
 an ADVENTURE to visit the Tulum Ruins



we saw some authentic Mayans dancing :)



I also found some Iggys this was a pretty big one!
They were EVERYWHERE!



Awesome how in tact the ruins are
we also had a tour guide who told us some
really interesting stories



We we're told there was an awesome Beach in Tulum
in this pic you can see a little peek

It was HOT that day & we couldn't wait to jump in the water
with a little more walking we finally got there :)

The water was a little wavy that day
so I stayed towards the edge
I hate waves



So by the time we got back to the resort
everyone was starving!
It was out last night there also
we decided to eat Sushi/Hibachi

July UPDATE

Hey guys
I swear I've been meaning to post for the last 3 weeks
BUT never got around to it
Soooo TODAY I'm going to
update you with a JULY recap :) {so far}

I got some pretty bouquets delivered at work a couple days before the work week ended :)
too bad I only got to enjoy it for a few days cuz I was leaving for vaca :(

My friend Denise posted on FB about getting a Pedi
which reminded me how badly I needed one!!!
swear I've been meaning to get it done...just haven't had the time
Luckily I had the day off July 3rd and FINALLY got myself a Pedi!!!

the lady made these cute lil flowers & put BLING in the center :) LOVED it.

I was also dress shopping for like a month for 2 weddings
I had such a hard time finding something
Luckily I found 2 dresses last minute
but I actually ended up wearing an old dress for the first wedding :)
It's kinda nice when you find an old dress
cuz I totally forgot that I had it in the first place

(kinda like scrapping supplies LOL)

Then July 4th we watched fireworks at the Itasca fest
There was an interesting food booth there
that sold deep fried corn on a cob, Fried Oreos & Deep fried Pickle spears
Had to try the corn & I've always wanted to taste fried Oreos

{not really sure about the pickles SPEARS}

It was interesting to taste both but I dont think I'll be having it again :(

 

So July 5th
I'm all set & packed to go
leaving for MEXICO!

The Tarantula

Soooooo yesterday

 we thought our 15 yr old tarantula died!!!

We found him upsidedown and we've NEVER seen him like that before!

But to our surprise....he just molted!!!

He's even bigger!

The picture below is his shell ;)

I read aged tarantulas rest upsidedown for several hours because it's very difficult for them to shed &

they could even die from it!

Poor thing ;(

But at least he's still with us ;)

 We've had him since he was the size of a quarter

And now he's the size of my palm ;)

I learn something everyday! :)
