Lots of 1st experiences

So last week Chrissy & I went to go visit our
wonderful friend Julie up in her cabin :)
She moved to WI & Chrissy moved to IN
so we hardly ever get to see one another :(
It was such a nice retreat

and the perfect weather for a weekend get away!

It was the 1st time I've been on a Pontoon :) so FUN!
also the 1st time I've eaten a "salted NUT ROLL"
1st time I saw a LOON
 & I think its amazing how the catch fish & stay in the water for so long
and how "they MATE for life" awe <3
Julie caught us some fish & we had a fish fry :)

Later that afternoon we went ATVing
{which was another 1st for me}

Jimbo taught me how to pick wild blackberries
(which was very thorny)
again another 1st
Julies ATV's name is Scarlet :)
how adorable!
I forgot Jimbos ATVs name though eeek...
I also found a little froggie :)

The next day
we went up to Duluth, MN because
Jimbo chartered an amazing train ride!
It was the first fall color steam engine train ride tour for the year
First time experiencing all of the above :)
I didn't even know what a "steam engine" train was or looked like...
this train is from the 1920's
If you're a train fanatic....
a visit to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum is a must :)

It went up to Twin Harbor & back
we had a lunch break & ate at Blackwoods
and then back to Duluth.

It was really fun to see "train fanatics"
line up at the side of the rode to take pics of the steam engine
we even had cars follow us along the trains path.
Fox news had a segment of the exact train ride we were on

and the last firsts lol....
I made Julie a Thank You album
Chrissy & I took all the pics
cuz Jules didn't have a memory card in her camera
and she told us to share...
well what better way to send a TY than an album right?!
This is the 1st time I've ever made a album soooooooooooo fast
cuz I was trying to catch her before she left for vaca.

I'll upload the pics & material list in the albums under PROJECTS
I used some new Quickutz goodies from Julies store
Lovin' this adhesive backed cork
which I used along with Blossom to cut the "CABIN" title
and how FUN are these new embossing folders?
I love this journaling bracket

and also this Thank You one too!

Well that's a WRAP!

I'm working on some more projects

Yahoooooooooo!
My Sass box came Monday!
But I worked late yesterday so I wasn't able to post :(
SO exciting though
It was like opening a X-mas present :)

I'm so Glad I was able to get one.
