just wanted to share a couple finds I LOVE...

I found these number jars from anthro

for $1.95

My FAVE number is 23 (my B-day is Oct. 23)

I was just planning to put little nick knacks in it...

it blends well with my bookshelf :)

That pic in the back is of my grandma & my GREAT grandma

I also came across these pastel cake stands from TJ Maxx

I definitely though of Jessica Enig from Such Pretty Things

Needing a few or several of these in her life LOL

Whenever I see pastels I think of her :)

A SUPER-OOoober talented artist & designer

I LOVE ALL her stuff! She is so INSPIRING!!!

This is the invite that gave me my bright idea to piece paper together

 

*My invite doesn't even come close compared to the detail that Anna creates

But I would have never even thought to free hand cut my invites

in the 1st place if I had not seen this piece of work!

Is it not the most amazing invite ever?

Weekends Over

...Insert SAD face __here_______

On a good note M took me to Cafe Ba Ba Reeba

for his "Secret Surprise dinner location" Sat night

LOL he wouldn't tell me where we were going

He knows how much I LOVE surprises!

I've been wanting to go there.....since F O R E V E R :)

Here's my HAPPY face :)

also cuz this Caramelized banana with pistachios is delicious! Dessert make me HAPPY!

 

 The Sangria special sat was PEAR! YUMMO!

I've never had different flavored sangrias

I usually have red or white..... usually white

but if you ever go you have to try the flavored ones.

I also wanted to inform you guys that.....

I'll be out of the country for a little while,

I've pre-posted till the end of the month

since I've been doing so well with the POST a day for the whole month GOAL

I definitely picked the wrong time to make this goal

but unexpected things happen....

Hopefully I'll get a chance to give you guys some updates

If not......I'll have a lot more to share when I get back.

My Birthday Invitation

I know my Birthday party was forever ago....

I intended to share what the original layout of my invite looked like

But I don't think I ever got around to posting about it

My thought behind it was to create a "cartoon" image of Me & Abbey

(of course shes my lil mascot) heehee

 

I drew the pieces on to cardstock

and I free hand cut all the pieces (yes this took FOREVER!!!)

The cartoons hair is long because I made this LO

Before I chopped all my hair off! :(

Below is a closer look at the skirt...I usually wear something ruffley

and I have a skirt just like this one :)

The shirt also has a "ruffle" collar

I made the banner with quickutz Ice cream cones

and I used rub-ons for the letters

the twine is from Martha

Since it's a scrapbooking party I made a little layout for her to hold

Abbey took a while to cut out...her feet...and tail...

It looks super easy but for some reason I had a real hard time making it

 

This is what the final invites looked like that went out to the printers

(It's a screen shot from my phone so the colors are off)

I Just wanted to share a quick post with some new Tuesday Morning finds!

I was trying to post this through my iphone & for some reason

These Paper Pads we're $1.99

The X-mas one had 50 sheets & it's the special pack with glitter :)

The Party in a pad is really cute the whole slab is a bunch of die cuts to use for a party!

I also got a monochromatic red pack

(which I'm in really need of)

The alphabets are die cuts which was the only one I paid $2.99 for.

Back to the 80's

It's theme week at school sooo FUN!

& today's theme is the 80's!

I had to do some research to find out what the "80's"style was...

even though I was born in the 80's I didn't come to America till early 90's

and 80's in the Philippines looked nothing like the 80's here!

When I came here my cousin (who was 5)

was OBSESSED with New Kids on the Block & Gumby

I had NO CLUE who either of those were

I think even if you played NKOTB right now I still wouldn't be able to tell you

who they are. I do not know a single song they sang.

Enough with my rambling :)

I was super-di-doooper busy at work today.

New Favorite Alert

Ahhhhhh! My Bake it Pretty order came in today!

I saw this Vintage Button Candy Mold tutorial

and I FELL in LOVE!

Look at these pretty shiny candy yummies!

I HAD to have this mold in my LIFE!....but they we're sold out for a while :(

But they restocked FINALLY! who hoooo :)

I was sucked in instantly & ordered other molds as well

Since I'm planning to make the Vintage Button Candies

I also ordered these Candy Flavorings :)

I'm obviously planning on making lots of PINK candies

Since the flavors I ordered are:

COTTON CANDY BUBBLE GUM & STRAWBERRY!

 

I also needed these Multi colored  candy wafers

 

and I couldn't resists these mini PINK polka dot cupcake cups

I REALLLYYYYY REEAALLYYY had to hold myself back from wanting to order

EVERYTHING from Bake it PRETTY cuz everything was ABSOLUTELY pretty :)

I have to say that this is my NEW FAVORITE website for Baking supplies!

Springy

I'm feeling a little Springy today :)

I looked at Amy's blog for a sketch (cuz she's the sketch queen

she finds all the good stuff heehee)

I decided on this sketch from Sketchgirl

Amy is also the guest designer for Feb :)

I was feeling a little SPRING inspired by the colors

they used to make the sketch layout....

So this is the card I made :)

I got a bunch of Chloe's Closet embellishments from crop chocolate a while back

the surprise sentiment is a part of the CC acetate overlays.

Easy peasy ;)

Treats & Goodies

Just wanted to share some of the YUMMY treats & goodies I got for V-day :)

Like this Marshmallow Rose my mommy got me

{It's strawberry flavored}

She also bought me these new cupcakes from Cinnabon

Which comes in 4 Flavors

Cinnaclassic,Chocolate Passion {1st pic below}, Vanilla Bliss & 24-Carrot Cake {other pic}

I have to say that they are pretty yummy :)

I microwaved mine for 10 seconds so the frosting melted a little

and It was extra tasty! I'm looking forward to trying cinnaclassic next :)

 

I was really bad with the sugar in take this weekend

totally ate this for breakfast ;0

M bought me these chocolates {because they came in a PINK box} LOL....

I was a little unsure about them at first

because it had the word "Champagne" on the box

& I'm not a real big fan of champagne

BUT BOY let me tell you.....they sure are delicious :)

M also found Hedgehog Balloons!!!

I asked him why he got 2 and he said it's cuz he didn't want one to be lonely

LOL :)

I LOVE them :) they are so so so CUTE!

Of course they Hello Kitty ballerina is super cutie also ;)

and V-day is incomplete without flowers

We stayed in and watched Dexter Season 3 all day :)

SUPER Romantical :) hahaha

Speaking of romantical did you know

Dexter (Michael C. Hall) & Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) got married in real life?

CUTE!

Oh! I forgot to mention that we tried a new local sushi place this weekend

If you live around Schaumburg go to Sushi Ya

YOU must try the California Deluxe Roll It's super YUMMO!

I usually dont eat any raw sushi...

ok I take that back I usually only eat California & spider rolls :)

& I've tried LOTS BUT sushi Ya's deluxe Cali is The bomb!

I'm craving some now :) (at 12:57am)

I better go to sleep LOL
