Happy week!

A few things to be HAPPY about this week :)

FIRST....I finally received this cutie in the mail

Its a hedgie tape dispenser :)

I bought it fr carolmaro @ Etsy

& I also bought this super cute taper dispenser when I went to hong kong

earlier in the year which I also LOVE LOVE LOVE

SECOND....I have more lil cousins in town this week :)

and THIRD... did you know they have

snack size McFlurrys @ Mc D's?!?

I really do LOVE it to BITS! heehee

I usually get Oreo but now they also have REESES & BUTTERFINGER ones! YUM :)

(although my coworker told me it was only 150 cals...it's more like 410! yikes)

The FOURTH thing I'm happy about...

is I leave for San Diego this FRIDAY! woot woot

I get to see my BFF & our new lil baby Isabella :)

which I'm in LOVE with!!!! OMG it's making my mouth water just thinking about it LOL

I didn't get to go last year cuz I was in Mexico

My Bedazzled Shoes

So last Saturday I was INSPIRED to Bedazzle

these cute canvas shoes I got on clearance for $3.00

They we're already cute as it is BUT of course I had to BLING it up even more!

I figured for $3.00 I wont be crying if I ruined them :)

 

So I made some mini Yo-Yo's

Used my handy dandy "Beadazzler" + some crystals = BLING-a-thon :)

and voila look @ my new cute bedazzled shoe cuties :)

 

The crochet flower was from the Philippines.

I thought of putting ribbon in the shoelace holes

I didn't like how they looked with shoe laces :(

I want to make one more with flats but maybe just in Black & white

{I prefer open toed shoes for the summer BUT were required to wear close toed shoes @ work}

I also wanted to try and attempt to make something similar

to these D&G beauties cuz I cant afford them @ $695 bucks!

But maybe by the time I buy all the BLING to make my own

I'll come close LOL

So PRETTY right? I've been in LOVE with these 4EVER!

*sigh* I ♥BLINGY things 

These are cute too

I found these @ Payless for only $8

& Is totally included in the BOGO deals :)

They are cream not white I cant tell you how hard it is to find cream flats!

I also have these super blingy sequin chinese laundry

"goodtimes" flats in both Black & Fuchsia

& I get lots of compliments on them :)

Anyway I'm so glad it's almost FRIDAY! Horray!

& double HORRAY my LiL Munchkin goddaughter flew in fr. TEXAS tonight

shes so funny, she got a lil mustache fr the quarter machine

Starburst & Skittles oh my!

I went to pick up my prescription @ Target yesterday

and while in line I saw this....

I don't usually visit the candy aisle that often LOL

INSIDE: is ALL the good stuff :)

Strawberry, cherry & watermelon!

Starburst cherry must be the only cherry flavored candy I'll eat

cuz I usually hate cherry flavored anything!

I'm so excited :)

DIY Frame

Some good GREAT news!

Recently my BFF Sue had a baby!!! I'm so excited for her & I know she'll be a WONDERFUL mom :)

Sue & her hubby Mario posted pics of baby Isabellas room on their baby website

& I just took a screenshot of it on my phone so it's a little blurry

BUT is this room not the cutest baby room you've ever seen?

I of course LOVE the colors & the FUN design!

and was instantly INSPIRED to make a frame as a gift for baby Isabella :)

So here's a quick DIY

Pick a frame this one just happened to be a canvas frame by EK Sucess

 

I lightly drew pencil lines around the frame for taping

 

*the tape is a little hard to see because I used clear tape

but I taped it up to the second line from the outer edge

and I used Liquitex acrylic paint

Now peel the tape off carefully

and you should be left with nice clean lines

As I said I was INSPIRED by Isabellas room

So I incorporated her rooms design on the frame

I just free handed the black loopy squiggles

For the dots I used some rhinestones

and finally put some of those thickers to use for the "Isabella"

& I found MM canvas flowers that matched the pink in the frame exactly

voila!

I hope she likes it :)

I cant wait til I see the whole fam in July!

{I'm squealing with excitement}

Wilton Tent Sale 2010

Woot Woot

The Wilton Tent Sale started today!

I went with my mom & my 2 grandmas :)

Luckily I had a 1/2 day @ work {cuz I also work tomorrow}

and from my experience last year, I almost gave up with the ridonkulous line I endured

sooooo I REALLY wanted to get there early this year

and luckily getting there early paid off!

Because they opened the tent sale 2 hours early! 
 So by the time 4:30 rolled around we we're on our way out!

A LOT more baking stuff not a lot of scrappy stuff

I was still in search for a muffie pan BUT I didn't see any

Closet Revamp

I would just like to say that I most DEFINITELY have to agree

that those "HUGGABLE" hangers definitely do work

in decreasing the amount of space regular hangers take up :)

{I thought I bought enough with 40...what was I thinking?!?! I think I need like 40 more!}

I think the clothes hang flatter& you are able to see them more

I do still have space to squeeze in a few more hangers in there :)

and the first picture you cant really tell that all those dresses were in there in the first place!

Lets just say I'm a believer now :)

OMGoshness what have I been up to aye?

Seems like times just flying by & with it being busy season at work

definitely doesn't help my sanity during the week :)

Although, I do have some iPhone pics to recap what I did this past Sat :)

Since I've seen Joy's FB post about The Latest Crave located in Downtown Geneva

I've totally been "craving" to go! :)

Soooo FINALLY this past Sat I convinced M to take me!

The cuppie cakes were DELICIOUS!

TLC makes a special batch of a certain flavor each day

you can view their specials in their monthly calendar

The Saturday we went the special was Lemon Pound

I ordered Red Velvet, Lmeon Pound, Peanut Butter & Carrot Cake

PEANUT BUTTER was my FAVE!!! oooober delicious!

I wanted to order a couple more after I tried it BUT it sold out that day :(

I've never been around Geneva before

& right next door to TLC is an indoor shopping mall

so M & I took a stroll inside...

If you LOVE vintage shopping..HOLY schmoly vintage heaven :)

It was like never ending!

The place is called the Geneva Antique Market

but I just LOVE all the vintage cameras :)

Another store I LOVED is the Coffee Drop Shop

any place that carries BUBBLE GUM flavored tea is AMAZING in my book :)

I bought 4 different sampler bags good for 10 brews

for only $1.50

I'm definitely gonna be back for more I tried all of them already & I loved them all

I'm not really a coffee person if I drink coffee it's usually decaf...M ♥'s coffee

so he bought like 5 bags! He was like a kid at a candy store :)

CDS's website is pretty simple but it lists a lot of the products they offer

the owner was VERY HELPFUL when we had questions & they do ship out of state as well

I definitely recommend them :)

Oh, & while I was at CDS the lady suggested a tea tumbler (but it didn't come in pink)

So on Sunday I went on an online tea tumbler search mission!

2 hours later... after LOTS of research & reading a gabajillion reviews

& watching this video that sold me :)

I decided on this tea tumbler from Teas ETC.

& I'm waiting VERY PATIENTLY to receive it :)
