March Calendar

Its almost March!

Which means its time to share my March Calendar :)

 

 Heres some close ups

I got some of the 3D embellishments with the rainbow & the

pot of gold coins from M's it was on sale for 50% off :)

I LOVE the KI Frosting stickers the glitter is just so FUN!  

These PUFFIESare super cute too! I need ALL of them in my life heehee

Unfortunately I did NOT start my April calendar yet so I don't have a sneak for you :(

Slacker! I know.... lol

I've been crazy busy lately :( Doing what? I don't even know....

But, I did add some new items to shop

 "Handmade is Best" stickers :)

Let your gift recipients know its handmade!

 Some fun colored twine on vintage wooden spools :)

 
Some Felt flowers :) There's hair ties,magnets,pins & embellishments :)

I'm working on uploading these this week so far only the hair tie is up.

I also got a new shipment of super cute erasers!

There's a LOT to take pictures of so that might take me a while :)

Happy Valentines Day!

I have some V-day pics to share ;)
Picture 1: is what my office looked like when I walked in this morning ;)
M came in & dropped it off himself (he told my co-workers to make sure I was told that HE dropped it off not a delivery guy lol)

Picture 2 & 3: a the quick treats I made for my co workers ;)
The little plastic hearts are from Targets $1.00 bin & I just spruced it up with some paper flowers, Bling & acrylic hearts (from Heidi grace like a million years ago!)

The treats inside are bright pink sixlets ;)

I wasn't going to make cards but last minute I decided I had to.

Vintage Paper Doilies

Ahh! Vintage lil paper lace lovelies.

I've been collecting some vintage doilies for a while

enough to carry a variety for the shop and now FINALLY I have enough.

Some sizes have more quantities than others....

BUT, I have inventory from 12"- 4"

In a variety of a few different brands: Roylies, Roylcraft and Roylace.

SU get together

This past friday I had a Stampin Up crafty get together at my house :)

Which is always a nice way to spend a Friday night!

 
and I wanted to share the cards we made

My friend Jen & SU demonstrator made 3 and I made 1

 (which apparently 1 was more than enough cuz it was really complicated I guess lol)

These are the cards Jen made

 
for this card she used the Build a Blossom Stamp Set

with the matching Blossoms Punch

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this & definitely need it in my life!

Jen printed out her own accent papers using the My Digital SU Software

This V-day card we made is all digital too!

(except for the teeny tiny heart punch out)

Look at those brads! they look real right?

Then, we made this layered beauty

Using the Vague Vintage stamp set

 
 she brought it in the clear stamp set

which was my first time trying SU's clear stamps

and while it did stamp OK,

I think I'd like to stick to their woodmounts better.

 This last card is the one I made

 
I used a not so new set BUT I just LOVE this Fifth Ave. Floral stamp so much!

and I also LOVE this curly label punch so much also :)

The card was made using the Nestabilites Labels 1 set

It was so good to see everyone who came

Labels Addiction

I have a confession....along with my MANY other addictions....

this is something I don't think I've shared with you guys yet lol

I have an addiction to Labels....

Mailing Labels, Packaging Labels, Gift Labels anything labels

preferably the ones with adhesive backing :)

I have them all over the craft room

I have a whole drawer filled with labels here's a pic

I also collected Paper Source labelsthat matched my envelopes 

this whole clear box is filled with them

these are the rectangles

 and circles, although I don't think they carry these online any more :(

 
They have these new full sheet ones

 No worries I collect that too! hahaha

 
with all this labels talk I decided to make some cute labels

available through the ivyPINK Etsy shop

I will be posting them throughout the week

I posted the first one today :)

Its soooo cute can you guess what shape it is? hahaha

YUP it's a hedgehog!

 
Each set comes with 10 pieces and is packaged in glassine envelopes with twine

I'm so glad I survived the Chi-town Snowpocolypse

I was VERY THANKFUL for a snow day today!

February Calendar

It's February 1st!!! Can you believe it?

I have a few things to share...TODAY is my BF's moms birthday

So a VERY Happy BIRTHDAY shout out to Aida! :)

We're taking her out for a surprise dinner on Sunday.

& Tomorrow is my youngest cousin Abigails 17th BIRTHDAY

AAaahhhh! every year she gets older I feel even older than on my own Birthday.

BUT Happy Birthday ABS! LOVE you :)

The last thing I wanted to share

is my February Calendar :)

I LOVE it so much it turned out so CUTE!

(then again I'm a bit bias to "PINKS")

I'm really LOVING these KI Frostings! They are so glittery & cute

I've REALLY enjoyed making these calendars,

It's a GREAT way to use up scraps & just old stash in general

It also helps that I've kept my embellishments in "season" theme cuz

I could pretty much find everything I need in one drawer.

I get a little ADD at crops cuz all Ido is chit chat lol.  

 
It's predicted to be a Snow Blizzardy couple days here in the CHI

I'm crossing my eyes, fingers & toes for a snow day

cuz me & snow.....WE DON'T get along!
