Were @ Coronado Island today ;)
Which is beautiful even though it's only 64 degrees ;) not exactly swimming weather but I'm ok with that ;)
We came across Billy Pav aka Mr. Sand castle man (thesandcastleman.com)
*Billy Pav has been building sand castles as a hobby for nearly thirty years. On most days you can find him near the Hotel Del on Coronado Island*
I've never seen such detailed sandcastles
before! I was so amazed!!!! ;) I'm glad I had the opportunity to see his work ;)

noticing: my food baby is growing! I either need to stop eating like a vacationer
or I need to start working out like twice a day lol ;)
reflecting: on how hard it is to be a mommy!
Seeing my BFF with her baby I think to myself....

This morning my dear friend Dave took me to brunch @ Yolk
Boy oh boy! Was I in for a treat?!?!
I ordered this deliciousness.....*Red Velvet French Toast*
Here's the description of this yumminess:
***Three thick slices of our Red Velvet cake with swirls of cream
cheese dipped in our batter and grilled. Topped with sliced
strawberries and whipped cream***
(definitely not your ordinary french toast)

wowzers AMAZING! I still have left overs for breakfast tomorrow :)
After Yolk we made a quick stop to Molly's Cupcakes
I've had their cupcakes before but I've never been to their shop
Ofcourse they had some DROOL worthy flavors for the day :)
I ordered Ron Benington, Peanut Butter Nutella, Cookie Monster & Kahlua!
After Mollys we went to City Olive which is a specialty Olive oil & gourmet food shop
Karen CO's wonderful owner lets you taste test
from the hundreds of olive oils they carry before you purchase
I came home with this deliciousness (thanks Dave)
Olive oil that is basil infused :)
It'll be perfect cuz I LOVE to eat this: yum yum yum :)
City Olive also carries other goodies
I'll share what I bought for my dad for fathers day
cuz I know he doesnt read my blog lol
My dad LOVES honey and CO carried this Italian Mieli Thun honey sampler
It has flavors like: Sunflower, Orange Blossom, Forest Honeydew, Acacia & Thyme
Im excited for him to try it :)

Saturday we went to my friend Jessica's wedding
& she had a photobooth & gave away little acrylic photo frames that holds your photobooth pics

I had polish with a lot of glitter & It took off so easily without drying my nails
& you don't have to soak your fingers in nail polish remover like I've been doing!

Gah! I can't wait to get my pictures from snapfish!
Luckily I caught their 50% off Memorial Day sale when I got back from vaca!
The Oasis had a SCRAPBOOKING room on board where they held classes!
How flippin amazing is that?!?!
I took a few classes on Sea days.
The classes included a small FREE kit that had a couple sheets of paper & sticker embellishments, they also had punches & die cuts available for use in the classroom.
They did offer a larger kit with more paper & sticker options that is their own limited edition kit specific to the ship made by Me & My Big Ideas ;) They had a few kits & themes to choose from priced at $3.99 & $9.99 ;)
I chose both the travel themed kits, although I wish they also offered an extra embellishment only kit too!
I got started on a couple layouts I promise to share as soon as my pics arrive! ;)

I LOVE the idea of using old embellishments for these calendars!
I need ideas for a "theme" for July thats not all about red white & blue
I thought maybe camping...... but I'm not sure if that'll look "cute"

Hola!
I'm back from my cruise!
Boy, do I miss the Oasis already ;)
I have more pics to share but I'll split it up in a different post....Here's a few of my faves for now ;)

Donut pic = @ Boardwalk on the ship after we got our faces painted for the 2nd time ;)
Bar Stool = M took this pic @ Sr. Frogs in Nassau I actually had no idea the seats looked like that until he showed me the pic lol ;)
Today though, I wanted to quickly share a lil project I just made with some left over bead supplies I had ;)
I made this cute bright & summery bracelet using my fave doodlebug & making memories flower buttons ;)
I found some single swarovski beads
so I thought I'd put 'em to use ;)
I'm sure it looks like it belongs to a 10 year old but it makes me smile so who cares ;) lol
