Sharing some quick iPhone pics I've taken so far here in Muskoka
The skies @ sunset is just perfect ;)
We went on a boat that cruised around 30,000 small islands @ Parry Island
I also caught my 1st fish ever (it's teeny tiny) BUT I also had the most amazing catch of the day...a huge turtle!!!
*I'll make sure to post a pic when I get back I was too scared/excited I forgot to take a pic with my phone ;)
& today there was a pink canoe for rent I had to give it a try for a pic op & I found out I'm a master a canoeing ;) who knew?!?! LoL now I need one in my life hahaha

This project is a Christmas Tag anything goes swap
I used the snowflakes from my Winter Woodland Cricut Cart
I cut it out of paper that already had small embossed dots

The white cardstock actually pulls out to this
I made a little notch so that it can hold a gift card :)

I don't know about you BUT I'm not really on "christmas" mode yet
BUT, I had to make a Christmas theme card for the Echo Park Card Swap for CE
I was INSPIRED by this card made by my card Idol Jennifer McGuire
Here's my take :)
I used PTI mat stack4 die in the center
The "Poinsettia" is made with this MFT Die-namics Daisy

I signed up for the charm swap f Creative Escape 2011
I'm so EXCITED :)
I've actually never made charms ever!
I took pics of my process for my very 1st " DIY charms" attempt
So here we go........
I've had these round "frames" forever! I have no idea who makes them unfortunately
I used my handy dandy crop-a-dile BIG BITE to punch a hole at the top
Then I used my 1" punch to punch out some patterened paper
I used a patterened paper with images of small pics of playing cards
I then adhered the patterned paper on the center of the disk
using Fabri-tak adhesive
I then used some Glossy Accents
(this bottle was from a kit so it's not packaged like it is in the stores)
apply generously
when the whole disk is covered with the glossy accents
I sprinkled some art glitter ultra fine Crystal on top
Then I placed my copper flower charm from Nunn Design in the center
*be careful, so that the glossy accents doesn't spill over
Make sure the charm sits on top of the glossy accents
I used a swarovski crystal rhinestone on the center
and I used a needle to place it on the center
there's a little bit of glossy accents that go through that center hole that
I sed to keep the crystal in place :)
Then just let your charms dry over night :)
The next day I used my big bite to punch the holes
through the glossy accents & paper
Soooooo where's the finished charm you ask?
Ummm.... yeah I forgot to take a pic with the lock!
But, I promise it looks just like this pretty pic but with charm locks lol
I cant wait to receive my other charms :)

Oh boy I've had such a busy week this week it's crazyness
I'm scheduling a bunch of posts while I'm gone on vaca to Muskoka this week
I worked on a bunch of swaps I signed up for Creative Escape 2011
I'm so excited to be going with my cousin Rosa in August!
We just signed up to go a couple weeks ago & I signed up for all these swaps
then I realized I wont be back on time before the submission deadline.
I had to make them all this week & mail them all off today! Oy!
So, for the rest of the week you'll be getting all the deets of each project I made
Starting with a charm DIY on Sunday :)

Sorry for the late Mani Monday post
I tried the new Zoya bottle I got from my Birchbox box
it's my first time trying the Zoya brand & I have to say that their polish really coats well ;)
Shay is a really nice neutral/natural nail color,
it has a little bit of a shine which I really liked better than just a gloss,
but I wasn't really feelin' the "natural" look right now
& I contemplated to keep just as is but I really couldn't do it ;(
So, I applied this kleancolor polish in Aurora & I love it so much more!!!
It's still has a natural tone base with a Lil bling ;) I love the stars in aurora ;)
I'm also trying a new protein for my nails from Nailtiques (formula 2)
It's for Soft, Peeling, Bitten, Weak or Thin Nails
I'll let you know if it really works because prior to Nailtiques
I had been using Durinail as a hardener & I've been really impressed by it ;)
I'm also sharing my "DIY" of the day ;)
I got these headphones from Woot a couple weeks ago
It was such a good deal @ .99 or 1.99 I don't remember I bought 3 lol
I decided to bling out the tips using my kandis rhinestone applicator ;)
It's so much prettier now! & it definitely doesn't look like I only paid a couple bucks for it :)
