Current LOVES

 I just wanted to quickly share a couple current LOVES with you guys :) 

1st up is SWAP-BOT

If you don't know what Swap-botis your missing out :)heehee

It's a site that hosts a bunch of different swaps

or if you yourself would like to host a swap you can do it there as well.

So I recently joined a "food theme letter swap"

and here's a pic of all the goodies I received :)

 
It's fun to join if you like receiving mail :)

Now, my next LOVE is.......

making my own FREEZE pops!

I know it's getting cold BUT I enjoy popsicles! :)

I got these popsicle things on clearance @ JCPenny for 90% off

so .79 cents :)

The other day I made Avocado Freeze Pops

It's just ripe avocado with 1/2 a cup of low fat milk & a little bit of sugar

I know.....sounds gross BUT I love it :)

oh my!!!! look @ that  fluffy yumminess!

I'm wishing I bought more, just means I have to go back :)

Postage Page

I just wanted to share a new page I
started on my SMASH book ;)
I was cleaning out my room & I found all these international package envelopes that I haven't thrown out, but I really didn't have a specific project I was planning to use them for either & I really just kept them for the postage so instead of holding on to them longer I just cut out the postage & adhered it to my SMASH book ;)
I love seeing all the postage from different countries!

I should join an international letter swap on swap-bot to acquire more ;)

Sprinkles!

I went to Sprinkles today ;)
Theres just something about cupcakes
That make me extra happy on this
GLOOMY Chicago day
I can't wait to eat these ;)

Project of the day

As you can imagine hedgehog shoes are not an easy thing to find

so when I saw these brand new cotton shoes at a resale shop for .75 cents

 
I had an idea that to just make my own :)

Then one day while looking at Etsy

I found cute little hedgies from Appliqueland

(shop is on break right now)

That I thought would be PERFECT for my shoe :)

Here's the Project of the day!

First I sewed the heart button on the shoe

(heart button is by Making Memories)

 
 Then I sewed the sequin flower & bead on the hedgehog

(sequin flower is by Doodle Bug)

 
I stuffed the shoe with a towel & I used a hot glue gun to adhere

the hedgehog on the shoes

and voila hedgehog shoes!!!!!

I also ordered these shapes

and made hairpins with it :)

 
 The hairpins are from Hobby Lobby 8 for $1.99

but I bought it wen they had 50% off a couple weeks ago :)

Obsessed with Konad

So I got a new toy :)

Its called KONAD & it's a nail art stamping tool

I pretty much watched a bunch of Konad YouTube videos to be convinced

that this is something I would actually use 

I have to say it is super easy to use & doesn't take that much time :)

Here's a picture of my nails that I did by myself

It's the Konad silver princess polish over China Glaze Urban Night

from the Fall 2011 Metro collection

 
This is my moms nails it's Konad white over OPI off with her red

I also did my cousins nails & it's just a silver polish I had

over Orly It's up to Blue

 
I tried to see if there's a difference using a Konad polish vs. a regular polish

 &  I do think that the Konad polishes work better just because

Konad Special Nail Art Polish is specially formulated

(5 times higher in viscosity) to achieve the best results

It dries quicker & cleans up easier & I feel like the image is also crisper.

Love Sundays

How was your Sunday?
Mines pretty relaxing ;)
I'm finishing up the last book of the Hunger Games series ;) I read all 3 this week! My friend Heidi suggested I read "Matched" next by Ally Condie so I'm starting that tonight ;)

I'm also obsessed with this new candle
"Autumn" from Bath & Body I'm not really big in to candles but I got this one for free so I tried it & the scent is not to strong & it really reminds me of fall which I love ;)

I'm working on the October calendar this week I'll make sure to post it as soon as I finish ;)

I LOVE lip stuff & I already applied this

It feels nice & creamy not sure if it's plumping my lips or not

 I'm also not really a fan of the smell...

I'm sensitve to smells though :( 

I wish it had some sort of flavor or something
