Todays the day I am officially THIRTY!
Another milestone & a number like 30 is hard to go unnoticed.
I plan to approach my 30s head on & relish the upcoming decade
because I plan for it to be the best yet.

and we got a $15 GC that you had to spend that day towards something

& I do have more places but they we're out of the country
I kept the list within the US only :)

I can't believe it
I'll officially be the B-I-G three-oh in a week fr. today

Last Monday I spent the day organizing
Cuz my BFF was coming in on Tuesday to stay with me for a few days ;)
I came across this ceramic egg holder @ goodwill for $1.99 & I had plans to use it for display but now I'm using it as a jewelry organizer ;) *so much easier to see the pieces I use most often ;) I really need to find one of these in pink!
Tuesday I decided to use my new Zoya Zuza (L-O-V-E it!) one coat & it's all covered! & it's super shimmery ;)
I also used my butterfly plate fr. BM3 set
This is my new summer hair do, I don't really like to tie my hair up too much, & I don't like hair on my face in the summer (Makes me break out) so I used a waver to add texture to my hair & fish tailed my bangs & just pinned it ;)
Wednesday we spent the day doing "only in Chicago" things, like eating @ Potbellys & Giordanos, shopping @ State St., bought some Garretts, visited the bean & we also went to the Art Institute to see the Lichtenstein exhibit (AMAZING & truly Inspiring) I think this was the piece that had my mind spinning & I want to make something with the same idea some day ;)
*adding it to my artsy to-do list.
Last pic is the 3 BFFs I'm so glad my friend Sue came to visit us even though it was such a short time
I have more fun pics but I do not have Internet right now so I'm only able to post via mobile
I'm also gone this week for vaca
So I will tty guys next week ;)

I've never really been to a concert...
and today at my cousins work
Adam Levine dropped by for a mini concert
& we we're pretty close up :)
He's just as cute HOT in person as on TV!
I was imagining that he only sang for me :)
He just released a line of music instruments @ Kmart

I just wanted to share some of the recent things
that I'm LOVIN' right now with you guys! :)
#1 on the list is this delicious de la Costa Sangria (I'm obsessed w/ sangria)
and usually I buy the "Real Sangria" brand BUT I liked the bottle of this
de la Costa one & it was only $7.99 @ Costco so I thought what the heck?!
& boy am I glad that I bought it! It's so yummy!
I hope they'll always carry this sangria brand!
Oh, & that PINK Moscato is also delicious I just bought it cuz it said "PINK"
I'm such a sucker BUT it really is also delicious :)
Next is another drink....from Taco Bell :)
It's the Cherry Limeade Sparkler
It's like a kiddie cocktail with a twist :)
I'm SO NOT a pop drinker but dang I'm addicted to this!
It's a great thirst quencher for the summer
Oh boy.... don't even get me started this bread its SO yummy
I dreamt about it for over a year since that's when I had it last
from the Madison Farmers market
It's the Hot & Spicy Cheese Bread from Stella's
They bake it right there at the market so you buy it
right when it comes out of the oven
& it's just SO DELICIOUS & totally drool worthy
& most definitely worth it for $8 each!
*wow I just went on their website & it can be mailed! <---TROUBLE lol
Next food fave is THIS
Crispy Kale Chips I got my recipe here
BUT next time I'm going to try a garlic infused olive oil
I love garlic flavored things & maybe some garlic salt for some flavor
BUT the original is also really yummy!
Fave new treat.....
It's like twizzlers but with flavor
& I'm hooked on these watermelon ones
I found them @ Crackel Barrel
OK enough about food & drinks geez!
Next new favorite thing is my new
oranized nail plates system! :)
So easy to do, I just used my brothers old baseball card holders
and bought a non slip mat from the dollar store
cut them up to 2 1/4" x 3" and voila!
NOW I can look through my plates faster & easier :)
This is my FAVORITE vintage find of the DAY!
OMG I almost peed in my pants when I spotted it
I'm obsessed with lil luggages & I swear I squeeled a lil
at the store when I found these :)
Pretty much its pristine a lil rust but I can totally look past that
a perfect set of 3 vintage japanese luggage! YES PLEASE!
Don't ask what I'm going to use it for cuz I have no idea heehee
As if that wasn't amazing enough
I found this too gah!!!!
I think the cute luggage fairies we're with me today :)
Last FAVORITE is this pic of my lil munchkin Abbey
she loves EXPLORING outside!

I told you guys I'd let you know what I thought about
Scrapbook Manor when I got back
& I have to say that it's my FAVE
scrapbook weekend get away so far!
The rooms we're spacious & the beds we're soft
the bathrooms (3 to be exact) were filled with multiple
(pretty good brands) of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & soap options
(I know not to pack any of those for next time)
The whole house smelled great & was spotlessly clean!
The food was yummy
my faves we're the cheese & broc quiche & french toast
(why don't I have a picture of these? *sorry!)
Karen has a machine for everything you can think of
a soda machine, a soft serve ice cream machine,
a hot chocolate or french vanilla cap machine, a popcorn machine
I mean this place has everything you could possible need! :)
The tables we're spacious & PLENTY of great lighting!
My favorite part about this weekend besides spending
time with my cousin & aunt....
is meeting 2 new scrappy friends Tara & Shaunte :)
Overall I would DEFINITELY go back to the Scrapbook Manor
such a perfect weekend retreat :)
Back to the grind & it is *HOT* T O D A Y! ! !
I went to mail some packages & pick up a couple things &
had to go home right away & shower cuz I felt sticky already!
I hope it cools down later in the evening I'm going out to my 1st
Karaoke Bar tonight! I'm so excited lol :)
