OPI Infinite Shine

I'm trying this new polish from OPI Infinite Shine

I only got 3 colors to try out

Pretty Pink Perseveres

Girl Without Limits

and

Unequivocally Crimson

 

OPI Infinite Shine had me when I saw it was suppose to wear up to 10 days

Similar to gel polish BUT without curing & best part....SOAK-Free Removal!!!

 

I tried the Pretty Pink last week it was my 1st try so I didn't have the hang of applying it yet

you have to be pretty generous with application so it doesn't streak & my 1st try had bubbles when it dried :( It did remove really easily though, I used my Zoya Remove Plus nail polish remover.

So, I'm giving it another shot.

I did a much better job with application this time around.

The Girl Without Limits is more opaque so to me it applied better than the lighter pink.

I used my FAVORITE Pueen Encore Nail plates to stamp with.

I'll report back & let you know if it lasts up to 10 days

Mani Monday & Cherry Picking

For 4th of July mine & my BFs family went

Cherry Picking at Tree-Mendus in Michigan

Of course I had to paint my nails CHERRY themed!

I used the Winstonia 118 plates & I free handed the one on my thumb. 

There was an abundant amount of cherry trees & all sorts of them might I add

it was a really fun experience since I've never been cherry picking before.

Would I go again just to eat some cherries?

Eh, I'd rather just buy it the store.

On the way home we stopped by for some ice cream at

Bubble Ice Cream in Michigan City, Indiana

and I had the BEST lemon meringue ice cream ever

that I'm still dreaming about it.

Do you know where I could find a Lemon Meringue ice cream near buy?

Card a day #11

Happy M O N D A Y !
Today's card is the camera from the Create a Critter cart ;)
I just added some brads & an eyelet to hold the "lanyard" super easy peasy
I was trying to think of what I could use with the "you make me smile" sentiment & the camera was perfect!

Also wanted to share a valentines day mani with you guys ;) I haven't done a mani Monday in forever I just got lazy doing my nails cuz I always ruin them at work ;(

I'm working on tomorrow's card right now! ;) see you guys tomorrow!

Mani Monday Holiday Nails

Hi! Long time no post I know ;(
I've been pretty busy as of late & time just zoomed by & blink it was December!

Anyway the holiday bug officially bit me & I wanted to share a holiday mani, I was inspired by ornaments! ;)
I used my favorite red of all time....An Affair in Red Square by OPI and I topped it with Art of Seduction glitter by Color Club. This is one of my favorite combos EVER! ;)

This past Saturday I went to Winterwonderfest @ Navy Pier the Christmas trees were AMAZING!!!!! ;) I wanted to go ice skating but they were cleaning it while we were there & it took forever ;(

                                  After that we went to my favorite cupcake shop Molly's YUM!!!!

Have you tried a Ron Bennington? I could devour 4 so good! Drools!

& I found the most perfect holiday shirt for me.....Elf sized yup!

Mani Monday Turned Up Turquoise

My friend Lynn & I went beauty products shopping

on Friday & she convinced me to purchase

this China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise Polish

& I LOVE it!!!!!!

Turquoise/Teal is my 2nd favorite color

(other than pink of course)

and this shade is PERFECT!

I stamped my ring finger with the plate fr. Mash 44

and polish by Sally Hansen in Mint Sprint

and here's the outfit I wore it with

Floral Mani Monday

Hi Happy Monday!

First off I wanted to say that this design

took me WAYYYYYYY longer than I had intended

I used this Bundle Monster Plate 323

as the base stamped in White

& painted the layers with Blue,Orange & Peach polish using a thin brush

I just free handed the leaves & topped it with glitter :)

I was inspired by the print on my shirt

I had such an eventful Saturday.....

I went sailing downtown in the morning

with my friend Jonnie

Spotted this sail boat thought it was cute :)

I've been called "poison ivy" only my whole life no biggie. lol 

Then in the afternoon I went to a girl friends house

& we walked to the Square Roots Festival to eat lunch

and for dinner we went to another friends house

and had some Molly's Cupcakes for dessert

Ombré Mani Monday

I know I haven't posted a mani Monday in a while

& that's cuz I've only had "normal" polish on

since I came back from the Philippines

 & I didn't really think it wasn't blog worthy ;)

 BUT, recently I tried my hands on my 1st ombré attempt

& I have to say I LOVE how it looks

BUT I don't like how messy it gets with the sponge ;(

 

Here's pics of the process
-First polish your nails white

*this is so the color will show up*

-Then take a sponge close to the width of the nail your polishing

 & paint the sponge with the colors you want to use

*Try to think of how the colors will blend when you pick your ombré

(I chose my colors based off of my swimsuit

which BTW looks like THIS

& at 1st I used a darker purple & it did not look pretty blended

with the blue so experiment til you get the look you want)

-I applied a thin layer of glitter before stamping my design.

I stamped my design with
Sally Hansen Navy Baby
& used Magnolia plate letter C

Mani Monday

Holy Glitters batman!
That was my thought when I first applied
the new China Glaze Prismatic :)
I'm sure I'm gonna be cursing when it's time to remove it but for now I'm absolutely in love with how shiny & glittery & blingy my nails are ;)

I also said I'd attempt to do an Effie trinket polish look BUT I didn't really like how it turned out so much on my toes, so I stamped over it with the flowers & I liked it a LOT better & my toes look extra sassy hahaha ;)

Its the start of my 3rd week for the Bikram 30 day challenge I joined that started April 1. I've lost 10 lbs. I cant believe it!....well actually I can....I sweat like massive buckets in that class but what I can't believe is that I survived past the 1st week it's a pretty proud accomplishment & I even got a yelp gym junkie badge out of it which was a badge I never thought I'd acquire hahaha ;)

Flowery Nails

Ugh I swear I meant to post this for Mani Monday & next thing I know it's after midnight!!!! Where does time go?!?!

My favorite tree (theres 2 of them in front if my house) is in FULL Bloom!!! I'm kinda sad though because they use to bloom in PINK but now they are more white ;(
But, I still think they're pretty ;)
I was sorta inspired by them to do a cherry blossom-ish nails on my mom ;)
Normally I let her pick her colors but this time I surprised her & told her she had no say ;) she LOVED it!!! I free handed the branches & stamped the tiny white flowers & just dotted some pink dots.

On Saturday I went to a baby shower & I thought I was going to wear blue so I painted my nails blue BUT yeah no I wore pink so my nails didn't go at all ;( I don't usually have a problem with my polish peeling or anything but I don't know what happened one of my nails completely peeled off at the shower & then 2 more the next day!!! Luckily I took a pic of this for my friend (it was a quick pic so its not really a good one) So it was my mani for like a day! ;)

Mani Monday PLL Inspired

Hi Hi Hi! This weeks mani was inspired by

Hanna's nails on Pretty Little Liars

The leopard print she has on is from the Sally Hansen Salon Effects

BUT I decided to stamp my leopard spots instead

 with the bundle monster 221 plate

I didn't do red though I wanted a springy bright color

The leopard print base is Rage by Orly

which is a pretty metallic rose gold color 

and the purple/fuchsia is Rich Raspberry from Revlon

Yesterday I went to see Hunger Games (LOVED it!!!!)

and I LOVED Effie's nails

did you see it? did you spot it?

maybe in a couple weeks :)

I did however put my hair up in Katniss Everdeen

 inspired braid yesterday

It was an easy peasy version of it anyway
