Weekend Wrap Up

What Sundays over already?

First...lets start off with some TV talk....

One of my fave shows season ended today :( Booooooooooooo!!!

I was really rooting for Russell

although when the show just started I wanted him to be voted off first!

Throughout the game 

I grew fond of him & appreciated his passion for the game.

BUTTTTTTTTTTT instead Natalie won

*UGH*

This season was ridiculous!!!!!!!!

In my opinion its one of The B E S T  seasons

and its cuz Russ made it so interesting to watch :)

It's rumored that hes gonna be in the upcoming Heroes vs Villains season!

I'm so excited for this one :)

Be on the lookout for the cast list Feb 11.

Also this weekend I went to see the movie that EVERYONE is talking about

AVATAR

HOLY AMAZINGness :)

Its definitely a MUST see...I want to watch it again {& again}

Just a tip though WATCH it on IMAX 3D for best viewing experience.

The creativity and art is amazing & beautiful.

James Cameron is a complete utter genius :)

Another show that I'm getting in to since all my shows are on repeat is

DEXTER! :) My friend let me borrow season 1 & I'm hooked :)

I was hoping to finish the whole season this weekend BUT

I only watched shows 1-4 :(

While watching Dex I was writing out my personal X-mas cards

(nothing like the last minute)

I was consumed by the gabajillion X-mas cards I sent out for work

I just got to work on my personal ones this weekend.

So these will go out 1st thing tomorrow! Yahoo!

Oooh & a GREAT find while I was out X--mas shopping

I went to Bath & Body and found THIS

Lavender Vanilla Body Mist!

Im allergic to strong perfume scents

I actually dont wear perfume at all....This B&B scent

is my ABSOLUTE favorite because its so light & calming

I've wished & wished for this scent in a body spray

I'm waiting for their after X-mas sale to stock up LOL

{just thought I'd share in case theres any other aromatheraphy fans out there)

 I've been thinking about

what kind of treat to make for friends this year

& I saw Elle's Peppermint Bark tutorial

and decided to try it.

Dominicks had a 2/$5.00 Ghirardelli choc sale

last week so I bought a few

I tweaked it a little bit

and I do have pics

I'm going to save it for a separate post :)

{possibly for Tues}

so be on the look out!

OPRAH Experience

So on Friday I went to see a taping of
OPRAH!
It was totally last minute.
My friend Melissa asked me to go with her
since her friend couldn't make it.
I was jumping for JOY!!!

We we're instructed to get to the Studio by 12:00 they close the doors by 12:30
we left around 10:20 we we're worried about the traffic
surprisingly we got there pretty quickly
around 11:15
I was taken back for a minute when we reached Harpo studios...
there was a line of animal cruelty activists in front of the building
they we're unhappy about Oprahs KFC giveaway :(
{not cuz she gave a free meal...BUT because she supported KFC}

We were in the waiting room for about 2 hours
before they brought us in to the studio.
The studio looks so much bigger on TV than it does in real life

The taping we went to would be her last taping for the summer :)
Shes taking her crew to a 2 week cruise vacation! {Lucky Duckys}

Our show is airing this Monday 5/11/09

The show is called "The worlds got talent with Simon Cowell"

The section I was in was behind Oprah so I doubt
well even be seen :(
I wont be able to watch the taping till I get home from work at 8:00pm
so if you guys are watching tomorrow keep an eye out if you see me
I was wearing a PINK dress :)
 
I was asked how does Oprah look like in real life?
How did Simon Look like?
They LOOK EXACTLY like they do on TV
and I don't know why I thought they would look any different :)

Overall it was such an AMAZING experience :)
My moms DREAM is to go see Oprah
my new goal is to get a ticket for her and my grandma.
My friend had to write 1,000 word essay to get her tickets!

We couldn't bring our camera or our phones
so I have some pics from outside the studio





After wards we shopped at the Oprah store

It's also the last day for the ELFA sale
so I'm on way out to the container store
I'm adding an addition to my scraproom wall unit.

TV TALK

SERIOUSLY I'm still in shock from SUNDAYs Survivor. I CANT believe Parvati WON!
Survivor's ONE of MY FAVORITE shows! This season hands down was one of the BEST!
I really wanted Amanda to win because she played such an honest game...I guess she kinda did because shes dating Ozzy (MY FAVORITE)

All my shows are ending this month :( Booo!

It's TOP MODEL finale this WED (I'm rooting for Anya or Whitney)
I cant believe there might be ANOTHER kid in Brothers & Sisters.
                          Does Greys really have to end so soon? I feel like it just started! 

I just got done watching Oprah's SMARTEST Kids I was in shock.
with this AMAZINg girl from the Philippines. Charice Pempengco is only 15!
I also LOVE this little CUTIE Pie Lilly. Man I know I have no clue where 1/2 of those countries are. hahaha!

Little DETAILS:

I used the PINK flower rub ons for the center of the card
and added a rhinestone in the center.
The button is layered on 2 separate sheets of these Berry Sweet paper. Im in LOVE with this paper pack because theres a lot of small prints on it.

{Quick story}

My BOSS Kelly is getting married this MONTH and we have a countdown for her at work.
The countdown is a piece of paper each written with I LOVE YOU in different languages.
WE also take a pic of Kelly everyday with the piece of paper. WELL this weekend was Kellys bachelorette party and her mom from IRELAND sent her some feather boas. BUT she forgot to bring it with her to VEGAS. So instead she brought it to work for the team to wear.... This was TODAYS pic.
(shes the one in the white boa) LOL

I have a CARD SWAP coming up Friday and I haven't even started. I've been playing catch up at work.
End of the month always gets a little crazy.

While in Miami my GREYS didn't record! I know... I almost had a heart attack.
Thank goodness for ABC's Episode player I was able to catch up during my break before tomorrows

I FOUND the most AMAZZzzzing HOTEL today: Hotel FOX. I love Room 510 & 506. Hotel Fox is located in DENMARK!

How amazing right?

My friend Jen who is just as addicted to Twilight as me....sent me this LINK for MTV because they were covering this Twilight story. I'm still not use to seeing that guy as Edward.
I feel like I have to read all 3 books again. I miss HIM. {LOL}

What about tonights IDOL? I was so sad to see Brooke White go. She was so sweet & she was bawling her eyes out. :(  AWE....*sniff sniff*

I didn't really have plans for National Scrapbooking Day UNTIL yesterday :) {heehee}
My Aunt Virna, Aileen & I are gonna CROP at Archivers in Downers. I'm excited ONLY because I haven't been to a CROP in SO long I mean were talkin like OVER a year, and I have cute picz from Miami that I'm super excited to scrap. What are your plans for NSD?

BTW my other aunt told me to post more picz from Miami today....LOL
